Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14)

*by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2018*

I would like to thank the author for this work. Written by a former Master Mason, it certainly helps to shed light on the errors of Freemasonry from an “inside perspective.” The book organizes Masonic teachings in a very helpful and illuminating way — especially highlighting the 4 fundamental components of their teachings that are directly opposed to the Christian Faith: UNIVERSALISM/syncretism (that Jesus Christ is merely one among many enlightened teachers throughout the ages; that all religious systems of belief are equivalent; that the "gods" of every culture are merely "Ascended Masters" who are enlightened manifestations of the spirit of Divinity that exists in everyone), SALVATION WITHOUT FAITH IN CHRIST (that the human soul is immortal by nature and does not require anything beyond itself to ascend to heaven after death; that good works are the measure of a man and that the Lodge will assist the man to increase and perfect his good works), DISTORTION/perversion OF BIBLICAL TRUTH (that the doctrines and holy traditions of the Church which have been derived from Holy Scripture and the example of the Apostles are simple-minded versions of the more profound Truths that are revealed only by the teachings of Freemasonry), and GNOSTICISM (that there is secret and undisclosed knowledge about God that only the "enlightened" practitioners of Freemasonry have access to; that the various doctrines of every religious belief system are merely man-made codes which are inferior to the revelations of Freemasonry; that "God" is actually and only that which is within oneself, the Great Architect of the Universe is actually the "divine within" that is projected outward and is present in all reality -- this idea has been popularized as "The Force" of the Star Wars universe). The book is written with an attitude of trying to help those who have been or are currently involved with Freemasonry; to offer an understanding that the "teachings" they are learning as Masons directly undercut and are wholly opposed to the Christian Faith. While the author makes it plain that he is sympathetic to those who are involved in the Masonic brotherhood -- describing the strong feelings of fellowship and acts of charity that he initially found attractive -- he, nevertheless, is clear that the oaths, teachings, and dramas of the Lodge can not be part of the life of a person who truly seeks to follow Jesus Christ as Lord, God, and Saviour.

An analysis of the Pagan religious beliefs that Masons espouse

*by B***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2020*

As a former Mason myself, I can attest that the author has a firm grasp on the nature of the occult and its place in Masonry. He aproaches the writting of high ranking Mason members such as Manly P. Hall, Albert Pike and J.D. Buckly from an Eastern Orthodox Christian perspective. He effectively pin points how and where the masonic dogma contradicts and goes against Christian dogma. He starts out the book by giving a short introduction of his own story and then preceeds to give a short overview of the primary anti-christian lies that the masons push. Then he goes deep into their theology and world view before contrasting these points to the Orthodox Christian perspective. Lastly, he finishes the book by posting the official stance of the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and two mainstream Protestant churches on their open opposition to Masonry. It's a great warning against those who want to join such fraternities, and an excellent tool to see why one would need to leave such a fraternity if they are already a part of one.Best of all it's short and easy to read, and acts as a nice introduction to many aspects of pagan philosophies and heresies if you're into those topics. I highly reccomend it.

Freemasonry and the demonic doctrine of Kaballah?

*by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2019*

After reading Michael Witcoff's book on exposing Masonry from a Roman Orthodox Christian perspective, I now know more about Freemasonry and its secrets than most Christians and most Freemasons in the world. That is, until they read this book, too. Brother Michael source quotes many of the key Masonic leaders and many of the ancient Church Fathers to build his case. He deep dives into the ancient Mystery Schools which have found a home and an expression in modern Masonry. He never writes in a way to push Freemasons further into their corners, but rather writes, imho, as an illumined Evangelist to help others out of the Freemason deception that he was once captive to himself. He says Masons are by and large good people doing good things in their communities. But he explains the motivations of why people join the Masons and why they climb its degrees. And he explains why this motivation is not of Christ and the Church. It is a fast and easy read, though at times, it is difficult for mature Christians to peer into hidden luciferian mind of the Freemason cult. Christians should/must pray the "Our Father" and put on the whole armor of GOD before reading this exposé.
