A little on the firmer side which we can live with, it does sleep a bit hot which is fine too...The overall comfort and great sleep we get is the best part about this mattress me (husband) used to feel like I was sleeping on a piece of plywood with a sheet over it!! Now I fall asleep with in minutes if not seconds of laying down, if it gets hot I just turn on the A/C if its a cooler night it actually works out perfectly!!! Instead of waking up like I got dragged behind a pickup truck all night...I wake up refreshed no aches or pains like the old mattress. If you're looking to change up from the factory mattress that came with your camper, this is definitely an upgrade! I almost wish we went with the 10" but when we access the under bed storage Im definitely glad we got the 8" great price for what you get. Easy to unroll and fit into place and puffs up pretty quickly no smells etc... ( wife is super sensitive to smell etc...Yet she had bo complaints at all. Would definitely recommend so far. Have had it about a month and slept on it more then 10× already! I would say its more comfortable than our hybrid in our bedroom at home!! When that one goes thw regular queen 12" will replace it!!!
