I was hoping that these lights could supplement the light in the evenings. However, because the lights only receive a 2-4 hours of direct sunlight they only run for about an hour. Despite the fact that some days the direct sunlight is longer it's still under an hour. I did notice that when they receive direct sunlight for a full day they run for over 6 hours (maybe more, i usually fall asleep before they go out). The other small issue for me is that I have to position the lights in the morning away from my plants to get the optimal amount of sun and then turn them back towards the plants at the end of the day. I would like to see a light that allows the solar panel to tilt side to side so that i didn't have to move it around so much. Bottom line It's a little bit more work than I was expecting.
