Noico 80 mil 5 sqft Car Sound Deadening Mat, Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener, Audio Noise Insulation and Dampening

I used this to help reduce the noise level of my Beam central vacuum. I lined the top of the canister (where the vacuum motor is installed), being careful to not cover any of the vents needed for motor cooling air to enter and exit the canister. I also wrapped the 3 stage fan portion of the vacuum motor, but not the motor (to avoid causing the motor to overheat). I had one sheet of the material left over, so I cut it into 4 equal size pieces, and applied them to the lower portion of the vacuum canister, just to reduce the possibility of that metal resonating. The noise of the vac system is noticeably reduced. This is my second experience with this material, I previously used it to quiet an AKDY wall mounted stainless steel range hood, and that material has stayed firmly attached for over 10 years now. This stuff works!

I'm creating a home sound studio and wanted to minimize ambient noise from my desktop PC (fan sounds).After researching, I decided that this product might help minimize case vibrations, particularly from the glass case window on my Corsair Air 540. I added Noico 80ml Car Sound Deadener on the inside of the glass, and then put a layer of Noico RED on top. It's not going to win any awards, but the total ambient sound (according to my phone app) dropped from around 46 db to 42 db at 12 inches of distance from the case. At approximately 4 feet, my pc is completely inaudible. I'm using Noctua case fans and a Noctua cooler, so your results may vary, but I am pleased with the results.I also used it along the sides of a WD Black HDD and it helped deaden the sound. I didn't wrap it due to heat concerns.

I used this instead of a headliner in a 92 extended cab Chevy truck and it worked great for a year and a half but the heat has caused it to start drooping in the middle. This product would be best for doors or under carpet but maybe splurge for second skin if applying to roof. Still seems like a quality product. The adhesive never failed the mat just separated in the middle.

I used this material on the inside of my tailgate and the wheel well of my vehicle. It really deadens the metal and cuts out vibration and road noise. The adhesive sticks really well to surfaces and must be smoothed out completely, that's the only hard part to using this. I recommend wearing gloves as this stuff will cut you if you're not careful. Also, prep the area prior to installation with a rag and rubbing alcohol to make sure it's clean and will help with adhesion.

This is the best investment I could have made for sound proofing my BMW Z4. From this one package I was able to soundproof the trunk and the inside of both interior doors. I used a lighter material for the interior panel. However, I will definitely purchase this product again because it was easy to cut, trim, and install. I loved the fact that imprint on the foil indicate whether you have used enough pressure or not. I had never done this before so this feature was invaluable. ***please note that I purchased this product and was never contracted to review or comment on it ***

A major problem with coffee grinder burrs is that they are loud in a home environment and can be irritating. I was able to open my grinder and cut to fit pieces of the sound deadener and it took dome time and work with detailed cutting and fitting but when done and reassembled it drastically reduced the volume and reduced the higher frequency sound making a lower pitched sound and more comfortable when family is watching TV while grinding. I’m considering a second layer to see if it would reduce more volume level.

It does improve the sturdiness of the vehicle panels. Buy my vehicle does not sound any quieter so far but work is still in progress. I have done the roof, floor and 4 doors. I have a small panel section to do before completing the first stage. Then I will add the second stage foam and hope there's a difference.
