The process went so smoothly that I just ordered a second SP 2TB unit to upgrade our Time Machine back-ups to from an old Seagate HDD unit which is starting to die. Terrific product by Silicon Power and great service by Amazon...even shipping overseas!!The fact that Silicon Power backs up their product with a 3-year warranty ithe icing on the cake! ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Works only on a full power USB 3.0 port, may not work on tablet without external powered hub *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2019* Much more of a power hog than an SSD should be. Would not work consistently on my Surface 3 Pro's USB port. A similar Samsung 512 MB SSD drive worked fine, even though it also used a USB 3.0 connection. Was able to use it connected to the docking station ports or with a powered USB 3.0 hub after I returned from the trip.
