Review: Excellent value - These are really good - worked straight from the box and are really bright. They do an excellent job of illuminating our side path.
Review: BRILLIANT: Video & Review - I recently bought these lights as a replacement for old similar ones that stopped working after 10 years (different brand). They arrived quickly and were well-packaged. Being solar powered they have the bonus of not having to replace batteries, and being completely free of any wires. They have a good sturdy build and high-quality appearance. The internal battery was already partially charged, and the instructions advised leaving them to charge for a day or two before use. Following the instructions, I placed them in a well-lit area while keeping them turned off, before fitting them in the garden. The package also included screws and wall plugs for installation, as well as large square sticky pads for areas where screws may not be suitable, such as glass or UPVC surfaces. One convenient feature is the small button located next to the PIR sensor on the front. By clicking this button, the lights cycle through various modes in this order: • Off And when dark… • Dim constant • Dim/bright if activated • Off/bright if activated This adjustability is much easier to use after they have been fitted, compared to other brands that may have a switch hidden on the back or lack this feature altogether. When in bright mode, the lights emit a powerful and intense pure white light that is sufficient to illuminate a medium-sized patio. The sensor is adequately sensitive to quickly respond to movement within a range of several metres/yards in the dark, with the light staying on for about 20 seconds if no further motion is detected. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance and price of these lights and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable outdoor lighting, so five stars from me. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will warm white lights be available in 4 pack? also what the color temperature are they better then cool white?**
A: Personal preference I think. Some people don't like the bright light as it causes head aches.

**Q: Can this be set as a security light, ie that provides some dim light  all night and not just when there is motion.**
A: Yes, you can have permant low light on with motion detected security, high light permanently on with motion detected security light and finally light permanently on with no motion detector. Unless there's a good source of light this will not charge enough to work through winter nights. Whee I live in lucky if it works for an hour during the winter.

**Q: Is sunlight required to charge these lights or will artifical strip lighting recharge them?**
A: Sunlight is required, they are solar

**Q: do these have a usb port to top-up the charge, in case solar charging does not give it enough juice?**
A: No.  But they still charge up even on cloudy winter days and have a decent factory charge at first.  Very rare I've been without light.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One year later, still going strong

Purchased these around a year ago. Very easy to setup and super effective! The solar charging function is excellent as it doesn’t need to be hooked up to the mains to work. The brightness is suprisingly higher than expected for the size of the device and lights up the driveway well, it also provides extra security as we know when people are moving across the driveway sinxe it comes equipped with a sensor. I did notice that the lights don’t turn on over autumn and winter which could be due to cloudy weather in the UK ir bad placement. Overall, my family has found a lot of use from this product and would recommend it to others
