Works just fine. Don't know about asking why? Running on a Sabertooth Z77 mobo with an I5-3570 chip. **Q: How it low profile bracket ?** A: No. This PCIe to USB 3.1 and 20-pin port adapter card doens't come with low profile bracket. **Q: There is another unanswered question buyer could not find win 7 driver on CD or online, will this work with Win 7?** A: Did not have any trouble with this. Plugged it into the PCIe slot, gave it power (4-prong) and it works just fine in both Win7 and Win10.
