A: Thank you for your interest in Nature's Bounty products! Our Red Yeast Rice 600mg is tested for citrinin and is within specifications.

**Q: How much do you take?**
A: Non. I quit taking it, along with Policosanol, after reading a few articles about the main beneficial ingredient behind red yeast rice being required to be labeled as a drug by FDA if more than trace amounts are found. Placebo is real.
Turns out nobody can repeat the results reported for Policosanol other than the cuban lab first to report, or related labs involving the same initial lab staff. Policosanol is made from cuban sugar cane. Something worked however. I believe it was the Berberine.

**Q: Does your product contain any significant amount of monacolin k; the compound identical to lovastatin, a hmg-coa inhibitor, or is it u.s. version?**
A: If they said it contains lovastatin, they'd be violating the law
