Fit perfectly. I mean perfect. I had several issues with the OEM carb on the 3.5. Mostly stalling when you turn the throttle, bogging, just a horrible carb. Swapped this 6hp in place and booom. Started right up. No bogging, stalling, nothing. Smooth through the accelerator. The second time I tried to use it, the new carburetor stopped functioning properly. The float or needle stuck and would not allow fuel into the the carburetor float bowl. I took it apart and found nothing wrong. The float height was correct. I had previously installed new gas tank with new gas and new fuel hose and primer bulb. New fuel filter. So no trash was in the malfunctioning new carburetor. Now I have no confidence to reinstall it.
