The tone is conversational and you don’t need to spend a lot of time trying to decipher complex sentences when reading it (looking at you physics textbooks). My only suggestion would be to add some contextual vocabulary or mention the “other ways some people might do it”. Inevitably while learning to code, you will end up googling something that stumps you and you will have your mind blown on StackExchange by opposing terminology or someone who isn’t using that same constructors that this book uses, it would be helpful to have little asides in the book that says “you might see it this way when you Google it” Review: Computer science required text book - Our son is finishing 11th & 12th grade, via Olympic College, through South Kitsap High.
