However, right out of the box it appears to already show separation in its layers. Over time and use maybe that's okay, but not brand new. I will be requesting a return.Update:I can really appreciate a company that stands behind their product. After my previous review, I was contacted by them and they offered to make it right. The new mat arrived in pristine condition and showed none of the defective layer separation as seen in the first. 10/10 for an excellent customer service experience going above and beyond and a good product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favorite mat *by E***M on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2019* I do a lot of yoga and pilates. Normally I am cheap with everything, but the last mat I got (though it was really cute) I would slide a ton on and parts of the top of it began coming off.So I decided to spend a little bit more money and got this mat.I sweat a LOT when I do my yoga and pilates so sliding is a big issue for me. I do not have that issue at all with this mat, the suede material keeps my feet and hands in exact position perfectly.On top of that the thickness of it is perfect for me. I have gotten thicker mats in the past and they're so squishy it makes everything more difficult. I also got a yoga towel thinking it would be better for me to be on something completely flat, but I had a lot of issues with sliding with it.This mat is thick but also very firm, making all my workouts easier. The bottom grips to a hardwood floor really well, so the mat does not slide at all through out my practice, and stays put when I move in strange ways.This mat is definitely worth the money! It comes with a carrying case and just a simple band that wraps around each side for carrying it around more freely.I would strongly recommend this mat. ### ⭐⭐ Thick mat/foam? construction/Pretty design/Not for me :'( *by P***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2020* I was really excited to get this mat, in fact I was so excited I bought two of these mats in different colors. When they arrived I was so disappointed. The mats were very cheaply constructed. The top anti-slip part seemed decent, but the bottom foam part was really cheap. The foam was really squishy and just not that good for the yoga I practice.
