Ever since then, I've had one from time to time (lost my fair share of em' because man do they fly...), and now that my son is 8 it's his turn to experience the joy of playing with them! Great way to get your kids out of the house and spend some quality time with them. Review: LOTS of fun, for just a few bucks! - For once, the claims of a product are true. You CAN throw this ring much further than the Frisbee. A couple of my friends and I have been getting together once a week or so, to play Frisbee Golf at a nearby park. We're having a lot of fun. But instead of using Frisbees we're all using Aerobies, so I guess we're really playing "Aerobie Golf." How we play: We take turns picking out an object in the distance; a tree, a park bench, a light pole, etc. The object of the game is to then hit that object with as few tosses as possible. Depending upon the object selected and the route we often specify must be taken to hit it, it's often impossible to hit the object on the first few tosses. We each have three Aerobies. We take turns throwing these Aerobies and we each take the best toss of the three. Where your Aerobie lands is the spot you throw from for each subsequent toss. This simple game keeps us occupied for hours! I can regularly throw an Aerobie disc about 90 yards, and tosses greater than 100 yards are not uncommon. I can't toss a Frisbee anywhere near that far. I would have LOVED to have seen the World Record toss, that went further than four football fields! Wow! The Aerobie rings also fly much more accurately than a Frisbee and are easier to catch. For this reason, I can't see myself ever playing with a Frisbee again. (Sorry Wham-O.) This 3-pack from desertcart for $22.43 is a great deal. That's less than $7.50 each. Local stores (Big 5 Sporting Goods, for example) charge in the neighborhood of $10.00 each, or more. The product comes in three colors and I DO wish when ordering you could specify the colors you wanted, although I don't suppose the colors make much difference, although it helps in our Aerobie Golf game for us each to have three different color rings, which we do. Note: Because it's a ring and not a disc, they ARE more prone to get caught in trees. Ideally, you want to throw them in a wide open area. LOTS of fun, for just a few bucks. After a number of sessions, we're all getting more accurate with our throws. I thoroughly enjoy playing with the rings and, maybe, the dogs too (:>). They are easy to throw and do indeed fly a very long way. I had a problem because Amazon only shipped me ONE ring when I had ordered and paid for a set of 3 rings. I searched for a place to get this resolved without having to involve a ‘return’, but couldn’t find a place to describe my problem. So I wrote a message to the manufacturer. Soon thereafter I received a most-pleasant reply from Sean at DiscStore (written to me on the Memorial Day holiday!).
