I needed a sleeve as I would be carrying my laptop around to all my classes. The laptop case is soft, and the padding isn't very thick, which worried me a little bit because I go to a big school and have to take public transportation and move around a lot during the day. Fortunately, I've had no problems with it and my laptop is still in really great shape. I was also really excited about the pockets on the case, because I need to carry my charger with my sometimes. They do the job, but they're pretty small, so sometimes I worry that the charger is putting too much pressure on my laptop, so usually I don't, but they'd totally be good for like a mouse or a usb chord or headphones or something. Another feature I didn't realize it had but was very excited to find was little cloth handles on the inside, that you can flip out to use if you want to carry your case by the handles. From an aesthetic perspective, the case is a really pretty color, but it gets dirty fairly easily. I don't like carrying it in my arms and advertising the fact that I'm carrying a laptop, but I don't like it in my bag because I'm worried I will damage it. I was looking for something simple that would provide protection for my laptop. I bought this hoping it would do the trick. So far, I have loved it! I use the larger front pocket for my charger cord. The cord is large and does make the pocket buldge quiet a bit but it hasn't been a problem. My Macbook Air fits perfectly in it and the soft cover protects it.The only negative I saw when I was debating on buying this was that someone said you can't zip it up and still use the carry handle. You cannot zip it all the way but you can zip about 90% of the way. I have had absolutely no problem putting my laptop in it and zipping up to where the handles are. I love that I can carry it with me easily with the handles but that it's thin enough to easily fit into my bag if I have too much to carry.The only 'con' if you will is that it does start to look dirty easily. I wanted to wait a reasonable amount of time before writing a review. I have a 13" Mac Book Pro with a hard shell case on it and it fits perfectly in there with a little wiggle room, but barely. It has two pockets on the front for your mouse and your charger (I personally do not use them). It has handles on the inside for carrying the case. The only problem with that is, in order to use the handles, the case has to be open and that bugs me a little bit as I feel like my computer is less secure. After six months of use, in and out of my black back pack and now into my blue one, I will say that the color has help up very well and has little to no color stain. I have not washed as I feel there is no need to wash it and it is still very clean. The case is durable with a little padding to protect the computer. Overall, if you're a college student whose constantly lugging around your laptop and you want/need a case that is very cute, this is for you.
