Description                                                    DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Micro-Emulsion SprayAntiseptic Spray For Dogs & CatsDOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Micro-Emulsion Spray is used in the management of superficial and severe skin conditions that are responsive to chlorhexidine.  Can be used alone or following an initial treatment with DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Shampoo.DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Emulsion Spray in combination with DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS Shampoo provides a unique, convenient treatment protocol for bacterial and/or malassezia [yeast] skin infections in dogs and cats.  Penetrates deep into the stratum corneum and restructures the lipid barrier to normalize the epidermis and support quicker resolution of disease.  Directions: External use only. Brush your pet's hair against the natural fur line, then spray the product by holding the pump approximately 12 inches from the pet's body, thus dispensing the product over the targeted area. The product will dispense naturally. DO NOT over apply.Ingredients:  Contains 0.05% phytosphingosine salicyloyl [controls inflammation and repairs the skin barrier] and 3% chlorhexidine [controls bacteria and yeasts].Dosage: 1 spray per 10 lbs. The number of sprays can be doubled for long-haired dogs. The veterinarian's recommendations should be observed. It is generally recommended to apply twice a week.
