I bought this alarm clock for my husband to use it in his workshop. It sits on the shelf and it is set on the brightest display setting so can be easy seen from a distance and at any angle. It looks prefect. I would not recommend this setting for a bedroom at night as it would probably be disturbing. Great feature is that it has two USB ports at the back, so it can be used for charging a phone or basically any USB powered device can be attached which is very useful. It has all the important features that a alarm clock needs: 12/24 format, adjustable volume (low is very quiet though), 10 min snooze and battery buck up. It is a very nice, smart looking clock and my husband is pleased with it.

Pros Nice and clear with 2 levels of brightness. Battery backup is useful for maintaining the time on the move Comes with the required USB to USB lead to plug into mains or another power supply that utilises USB connectivity Super easy to set up Light source does not disturb sleep pattern A Solid little clock Cons Is not stand alone and so has to have access to a mains point etc. Does not come with a plug adaptor I did find it a little unresponsive to get it to change brightness not a major problem In summary I liked the idea of this alarm clock as I was needing something small and portable With the advancement of plug socket designs to include USB ports, this clock actually is a really good idea, as it takes away the need for a bulky plug socket. The battery backup is really handy as it means I can just take it with me when I travel and utilise my phone charger port or the hotel usb sockets which are becoming standard in most places today.
