A: The 6” is definitely a candy bowl. The 7-1/2” is more like a large candy bowl but definitely not s fruit bowl. Fruit bowls start at 10”

**Q: Can than this be used to hold liquids?**
A: We purchased it for a friend expecting her to use it with food ( liquids).
