When I say "well done", I mean that the notebook is:(1) attractive and feels right in your hands;(2) it's a standard A6 size convenient for travel and daily routines, but not too small to present a challenge writing into it;(3) solid binding (not just glue) that allows the notebook to stay flat open and it doesn't fall apart; and(4) most importantly (for me) is that it's fountain pen/ink friendly and to a large extent beats more expensive competition in this department (tested it with several fountain pens and "dry" and "wet" nibs, including a stub nib too and the paper performs well not showing any bleeds or any significant feathering with Pelikan, Kobe/Sailor, Waterman, Montblanc, and Parker inks that I tested it with).Overall, a nice quality surprise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful & Built *by H***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2014* In the past I have used cheap notebooks for class and journaling, and I always have the thought of saving my notebooks for later reference. However, these Daycraft notebooksare of great quality; they seem to be able withstand some love in the form of wear and tear. They also look beautiful and the pages are nice and sturdy. I intend to use these not just for class but for personal journaling now and in the future.
