The tool is handy if you do not have one already but it is a bit small for me and was not super useful I had to use my larger size one. The clasp its self is polished and stamped as stainless steel and looks nice.No real sharp edges on mine that i can speak of today. I am using mine on a No1 android smart watch and so far it is functioning well but it is very new. Not suitable for leather straps thicker than 2mm or any strap with padding. Had to grind the pin down in an attempt to fit the strap through. Seems more suited for a thin perlon or the thinnest of alligator straps. The 22mm adds bulk to the strap, maybe a much for 7 to 7 1/4 inch wrist.
