If you want to make it softer, roll it up tight forward and back until you reach desired flexibility. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a difference 1" makes! *by J***G on October 19, 2025* I've used a Valeo Competition II Powerlifting Belt for over 10 years (4") never happy with leather belts I've bought in the past...the belt being 3 inches I don't have the problem of the belt sticking to my lower ribs, only problem is, because of my structure (long torso, short legs like Mike Matarazzo RIP), I still have to bring the belt down a little bit where it still rests barely about my hip bone, then again I did it with my Valeo belt, so that wasn't an issue for me, but I'm happy it doesn't stick on my bottom rib.
