It doesn't have foam inserts to keep it tucked in. The buckles are cheep and quite useless. I really only bought this to protect my new recliner from my cats scratching it up. The fabric itself is nice, it fit pretty good other than a few seems where a square shaped arm rest would go but it does its job well. My entire recliner is covered completely and i highly recommend anyone looking for a slipcover to give this a shot.
