You'll secure the HDD to the caddy with 4 pins(already attached to the caddy, no additional installation)and then the caddy just slides right into place. I have two ssd’s mounted top and bottom with adapter in regular HDD slot **Q: Does this also fit the Optiplex 7090?** A: I actually have an OptiPlex 7090… the drive cage is a bit too short for the sled, at least on the full-tower sized desktop model.
