Perhaps they have improved production quality since the reviews that were posted years ago because I find mine to be very steady now that it is all together and the screws at the bottom are tightened. The screws that hold the mirror on at the sides allow for the mirror to move so you can adjust it to the position you want. Once you put it in position, it does stay there and you don’t have to adjust the screws to move it again. I am replacing another high quality mirror from a furniture store with this one to match my furniture better. That mirror was much more expensive and I am just as happy with this one. One note about assembly is that I figured out to put it down on the bed for the last step of putting the mirror on the frame and that was the trick to doing it by myself. I will attach a photo of that for people like me. I did have a customer service issue, but they were very responsive and helpful. Just be careful with your packaging. It is not hard to get it open and get it out of the box and back in correctly, even for a single person. You just have to pay attention to what you are doing from the start.
