I waited a few months to write the review to check for mold, and there is none! I am not using a liner, and no water ends up on the floor. Soft greamy yellow color and I'd describe the pattern more of a honey comb rather than waffle. Still need iron to get the creases out (be sure to use a pressing cloth and low heat on the iron when you do this or you will ruin your beautiful new shower curtain). Also the wrinkles from packaging never fell out over time.
