A great option for a house plant, Pink Anthuriums are beautiful perennials with glossy, waxy foliage and bright flowerlike growths which appear on long, slender stems. These bracts, called spathes surround a cluster of tightly packed flowers known as a spadix, which grow throughout the year in roughly 3-month cycles providing a lovely, bright display. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: How can you repot when it outgrows it's pot ? And what kind of soil ?**
A: Flamingo plants like a pot that’s tight, so i would only go up 1 size otherwise it will put all its energy into the roots instead of the flowers. The soil I use is just ordinary compost with a handful of grit . Hope that helps

**Q: What type of pot is this supplied in? Images say growers pot but the description says ceramic pot. Cheers**
A: Only a basic plastic pot.  No ceramic one.  It's quite small and dries out and drains quickly.  And its roots lie on the surface ( at least some of them) so the plant rises up out of the soil.  I'll probably have to repot it soon.

**Q: currently with flowers? Can I get a photo?**
A: It has several (6)  pinky-red flower heads now and had them when it arrived.  The spathes (botanical term for the red parts) have some green in them and maybe they'll colour up as they develop. I expect that may also reflect how much light it receives too. It is quite vigorous and healthy now.  I hope I don't kill it! I've seen other varieties with more dark red colour.  This one tends towards pink.  Good luck!

**Q: this plant as loads of leaves but after one year as just started to flower off of really long stems do you cut the stem off**
A: Yes I removed those stems, I guess there will be more grow again.
