Review: Great storage, can be hard to open - I used these soap boxes with crayons for my preschool class. I like that they are durable plastic and if they do break I have a replacement. Only thing that I don't like is how hard it can be to open for little fingers.

I can fit a small bar of soap, lip balm, fingernail clippers, and fingernail files into one of these soap boxes. I wrap the box up in a washcloth and add two toothbrushes in a holder to complete Hygiene Kits to donate to children in need. The price is a bargain allowing me to make several hygiene kits for the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes I'm making and give additional ones as filler items to help fill shoeboxes that arrive at the processing centers less than full. I have purhcased this item a few times and I will continue to purchase. They work great.

**Q: 2.5 x 3.14 cannot hold a regular bor of soap.  To hold a normal bar you need about a 3 x 5 x 1.5 inch box.  How can this hold a normal bar of soap?**
A: You are correct, it cannot.  The box I have measures 2.5 x 3 7/8".

**Q: How well do they hold up? I want to use them in my classroom to store crayons.**
A: I think they will hold up for at least a year.  The two problem areas would be the front piece that snaps over a little peg.  I find it a little difficult to open.  On the back are plastic hinges that hold the top on--they are not very thick.  I bought them to send in Samaritan's Purse Shoeboxes and I think they are fine for that.

**Q: Is the top diamond shaped?**
A: No the top is a rectangular shape just like the box. They were some what hard to open but I’m sure that will loosen after time.

**Q: I received opaque light yellow boxes, not translucent as described. Any explanation?**
