I took a chance on these since they had most of the colors I would need for the core box. I especially love the Strong Tone wash. These paints seem very similar to Vallejo quality wise and I had mistaken them for Vallejo paints initially.I have not tried airbrushing with them yet, but I imagine you would thin them the same way you would Vallejo paints. Army Painter has their own airbrush medium, but you could also use Vallejo's or similar if you prefer.I love the dropper style bottles as they keep the paint from drying out instead of painting from the paint pots.The price of the set vs buying the paints individually was a great deal. He chose the separatist and I choose the clones. I ordered this set for myself because during Covid-19 was causing delays in shipping out the clone paint set, acrylic paint was hard to come by. The colors in this complete Imperial and Rebellion paint set are great, but there is no solid black acrylic paint. The Sith robes color is the closest, but in is a black / brown tint.
