About 15 years ago, I moved to the desert from a humid area and the climate here is so dry that the air actually sucks out whatever moisture you have, thus my skin has become even drier. Now, with age being an inevitable factor, my skin has dried out even more. To make matters even more complicated, I am in the process of an aggressive micro-needle therapy five nights a week, which totally strips any moisture or natural oils out of my face, leaving me feeling like a dried up prune.Texture = 5 stars:I am delighted with Lancer Rescue and Relief Overnight Moisturizer in every possible way. The cream is so creamy, almost like a whipped cream, not thick, or greasy, not thin and watery. This cream is absorbed immediately and there is no after filmy feeling on the face.Packaging = 5 starsThis moisturizer comes in a jar covered by a clear acrylic lid. It does not unscrew, it just lifts off easily. Under the lid, a white round disc with a small center hole protects the cream, which is how the product is dispensed. You apply a little pressure with the tip of your finger and a small amount comes through the hole. You can control the amount dispensed, there is no waste, and therefore the product is always covered and so much safer from any contamination that may be in the air. Easier than a squeeze tube, more efficient than a pump and saves that messy procedure when one scoops out too much and the extra amount is returned to the jar.Product Results = 5 StarsThe first real test for Lancer Rescue & Relief moisturizer was when I used it after my micro-needle session, when my skin was red, raw and extremely sensitive . I had already applied my serums and braced myself for the usual breath-holding imminent sting that would take my breath away. To my complete surprise, there was no sting but, rather a soothing almost cooling effect. In addition, instead of my skin becoming redder, the redness started to calm down. Moreover, this moisturizer was immediately absorbed instead of laying on my face in little white globs. I moisturized once again, before turning in for the night, not because I had to but because I wanted to. Next morning, my face looked great! It was refreshed, and my skin was supple for the first time in a long time. I now use this as my nightly moisturizer every night.Product Price = 1 StarAlthough, I was pleased with the texture, the packaging, and my skin results, the price of Lancer Rescue & Relief is absurd, this is an excellent moisturizer, but it is not a miracle cream. Hence the price. This guy is a doctor and wrote the book 'The Lancer Method'. He has a product list for all the applications and the list has tier1-3 products to fit your budget, his products being the most expensive.
