Unfortunately, not all of them were wired correctly at the 66-block (distribution terminal), so this product's transmitter just plugs into the outlet I'm looking for and the sensor probe picks it up as I move it along the block at the other end. It's pretty easy to tell by the lights and the sound when you've found the wire you're looking for. I can't believe it was so inexpensive and that it works so well! If you're a pro, this won't be very satisfying, but as a homeowner who would pay more for a service call than the price of this product it was a deal.
