It wasn't. First of all, I LOVE that it has pockets! They're very subtle slit pockets, so they don't show, but it's way more practical than a robe with no pockets. Also the inner tie helps keep you from falling out of it, as the outer tie inevitably comes a little loose. The material is lightweight, but traps enough heat that I don't get chilled around the house, like I do in a tank top and shorts. The robe is modest enough that I can answer the door in it if need be, but my boyfriend thinks it looks sexy when I wear it in front of him - which is a total bonus, b/c it's so easy and comfortable, it doesn't feel like scratchy lingerie or a g-string wedgie up your butt.
