You can connect two wires to the same connector splicing them together. The UY accepts 21 to 26 gauge, with a maximum outer diameter of 1.52 mm. This refers to the size of the insulation on The Wire. Note that the UY2 takes a 19 to 26 gauge wire with a maximum diameter of 2.08 mm allowing for heavier insulation. The second two, the UR and UR2 are three poles each. This means that you can connect three wires into the same connector. You will also notice the difference in MAX OD, (Maximum outer diameter). Even though they both take 19 to 26 gauge wire, the UR2 accepts wire with a heavier/thicker insulation size. The UG connector is a different style.
