Never in competition, just for exercise and meditation. I became good enough that I could do laps for several hours. However, honestly as I became older, those long hours became just as old. So I found an amazing waterproof MP3 player called Diver, which allows me to load hours of music, video audio, e-books, etc. Point being that because of this, I’m back to swimming at least two hours a day. And of course that has caused my hair to look like the Scarecrow from “The Wizard of Oz”, what with the long exposure to the pool's chlorine. I was told by my hairdresser that I needed a special shampoo and conditioner that is especially formulated to get rid of Chlorine, and bring back the oils in your hair. I tried several brands, and they not only didn’t help, but since I needed something to use every day they actually made things worse. This product came recommended by the swim trainers at my club. Bottom line. It’s amazing. I use it every day after swimming, and just like the commercials say about shampoo’s, it really has saved my hair, and actually makes it look better than its ever looked before! Yes, really. Some nit-picking customers have complained that it’s too “thin”. I have no idea what their problem is. The shampoo and conditioner works itself beautifully into your hair.
