I've hauled many bikes on this, some the same weight you're saying, around 600 wet weight, and it's only bent a half inch or so. I would not hesitate to put the same 600 lb bike on and drive it twice the distance as originally caused the slight bend. This is very sturdy and will definitely handle your 650. I've hauled ninjas, cb750s, dirt bikes, gs500f. I only recommend drilling your own pin hole since the factory one is drilled about two inches from the end of the pipe but you can make your own say 5 or 6 inches in depending on your hitch depth. Will increase the structural integrity slightly. I did this immediately before ever hauling a bike and I've not had any issues. Maybe weld another piece of angle iron along the bottom to reinforce. Overall great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, seems pretty sturdy. *by J***N on July 31, 2023* I transported a bike that was about 450 pounds without any issue using this, although I only rode about 20 miles. I did end up keeping this on my trucks hitch for a few thousand miles of driving without any load on it without any issue though. My only complaint was the packaging. It came with a few bends, bruises, and scratches on it due to most of the parts just kind of thrown into one box without much padding between them. Each part should really be individually wrapped before shipping. The box itself was very sturdy and well done so no parts were missing, but it was a bit of a jumble on the inside. The package that the rails (what part the bike sits on) was also a bit beat up and not quite enough padding on the inside, thus causing me to need to bend a few of the lips back into place with some pliers as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find it came with a hitch stabilizer, allowing me to return the one I bought for $20. Just make sure to account for the whole bikes weight when purchasing these.
