Scientific name Melaleuca alternifolia. Ingredient 6 in the shampoo. (And this is great, because of course recipes with essential oils are supposed to dilute the essential oils.) **Q: Can you use the shampoo as a body wash?** A: I wouldn't, too great of shampoo to use all over,but you could wash hair and wash body too...love this product **Q: Is there a pump for this bottle? My hair seemed to soak the conditioner like a sponge. Rinses cleanly. Noticed that the smell doesn't last - which is great. If you grew up in the 70's, think about that one weird uncle that came to dinner at Thanksgiving that would wear gold chains, unbuttoned shirt, and smelled like he thought he was a lady's man. That's the smell.
