With pins, you can make them last until 20+ pounds with a standard fold and pulling out the wings in front. These are almost as wide and just as long as the 14-30lb 'better fit' prefolds, which are designed for trifolding, so there's no reason you can't make these work from birth until potty training! **Q: Just switched from the size 1 for my 4 month old who is 15 lbs, but they are huge! Suggestion for how you made them fit?** A: I think you are supposed to move to size 2 at 18 lbs. My son is 31lbs and the waist is getting a little tight to snappi easily, but other than that, they fit great.
