Doesn't taste like the modern, mass-produced colas - don't expect that if you're buying this (you will be disappointed). If you're used to small-batch colas you'll have a better idea of what to expect. By itself it isn't terribly sweet - I usually use the recommended tablespoon and a half per cup, plus a tablespoon and a half of simple syrup made from turbinado sugar. This will approximate the sweetness of a Coke, but with much more interesting flavors. Makes for absolutely wonderful mixers - takes a rum & cola to a whole new level.
