Was using it to cut ( 5cm thick , 50cm x 100cm ) expanded polystyrene sheets. While cutting the sheets, the iron temperature decreased rapidly, and I would have to go really slow so that it keeps a constant high enough temperature to melt the polystyrene. After a few sessions of use it broke down. When opened it was found out that the filament inside broke. I did not contact the seller to try to get refunds and did not check about warranty. From then on I continued the job using a sharp kitchen knife and it was good enough.
