The part quality looks fine but dimensionally it was not correct to my original Mercedes front knuckle. The centerline distance between the taper and the alignment pin seems to be off by about 1/16 of an inch. A work around would be to drill out the original steering knuckle pin diameter larger to offset the difference. I have included an image with this review so you can see that the pin is lined up in the hole but the taper has a gap on one side an flush on the other side. When you try to tighten the joint it skews and shaves metal from the pin. I contacted URO Parts and they said they never had any complaints on this issue and to return the part for a refund. So they have good support and I have purchased other parts from them that worked very good. This may be only an issue with this particular batch and not indicative of all the lower ball joints. This was on a Mercedes SLK 230 (R170)
