I love the easy clean-up, the non-toxic spray environment, the ease of mixing and smooth lay-down. I hate the tip-clogging! That is the trade-off. Even with the Vallejo airbrush flow improver, you still need a pipe cleaner handy to clean your airbrush tip. But, I guess it's worth it. These paints have an almost sweet smell when airbrushing. I have the RLM paint chips from Eagle Editions and Classic Publications. I added a bit of white for scale effect to the Vallejo colors and they seem spot on! At 1/48th scale, the RLM 74/75/76 seem dark and need to be lightened a bit. This paint has a nice feel and snuggles down well to panel lines and details. I've used the Vallejo thinner, water, flow improver. Test and see what works best for your set-up.
