I got the large size and I'm glad I did because it barely fit her. I have American bullies and they are basically a short dwarf Pitbull. They have large heads big bodies and short legs. The main on she looks like a miniature lion. we have wanted one of these for a long time because of her Fawn coloring like a lion. She got really excited when we first put it on her and I can't wait to take her out on a walk with it on and have her wear this Halloween. This lion mane made all of us smile and laugh. The only negative was that we cannot the lion tip to stay on her tail because she would wag it and it would throw it off. Going to have to try to figure out how to keep it on her tail. But other than that we love this mane. Review: Tilly was the hit of the parade! - Better quality than expected, and stayed on surprisingly well (once she decided to stop taking it off). It came w/ permanent creases from being folded inside the packaging, but I spritzed it w/ water and leave-in conditioner, brushed it out, then hung it upside-down (and kept it hanging upside-down). I also lightly added coconut oil to the ends to help prevent friz and to give it texture, then used the pointy end of my comb to separate the individual strands, which hid the creases and made it super soft/fluffy. It held up for hours of use and feels well-made (for an inexpensive costume), w/ a satiny lining and secure drawstring. I expect to get several more uses out of it. (I was going to use the tail just for posed photos, but forgot. The tail elastic is snug/secure and seems like it could work depending on the tail, just not w/ rigorous wagging. Thanks for a fun and happy Halloween! ## Features - 【THE MOST FUNNY DOG COSTUME】Our large dog costumes would make your pet looks adorable and fashionable. Does it actually come with one included?** A: It is a piece of fur about 4-5” long with elastic on one end and you slip it on the tail. I couldn’t get it on my dog, who is a shepherd mix. She did not enjoy the costume experience. **Q: Is it easy for a dog to remove it by itself? Not sure if my Husky will try and remove it and destroy it.** A: My dog pulled it off himself in a matter of minutes **Q: how does the elastic pull cords work? Just bought and not sure how to make it fit snugg.** A: Pull on both ends of the rope, adjustable what you want size，it's very easy to adjust **Q: How is it on a black dog?** A: I’m not sure it would be as convincing on a black haired dog. I used it on a tan and brown shepherd mix. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So funny! *by K***Z on July 21, 2020* I couldn't believe that my dog actually got happy when I put this on her. The tail was a bit tight for him so that never really got used. After a couple of wears the headpiece did start to appear a little worse for the wear but it is still fine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dog Costume, Halloween Dog Costumes Lion Mane for Medium Large Dogs, Realistic Lion Wig Costumes for Dogs, Funny Dog Costumes Wig, Halloween Christmas Costumes for Dogs for Photoshoots Entertainment - AUTOYSUR Dog Wig Costume for Small Medium Large Dogs with Head Flower, Trimmable Pet Cosplay Cat Decoration for Halloween, Christmas, Parties --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/151182562-lion-mane-dog-costume-realistic-wig-for-medium-and-large](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/151182562-lion-mane-dog-costume-realistic-wig-for-medium-and-large) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
