The ball-heads have been manufactured during the carefully balanced production process and made of the highest-quality materials. Moreover, the hydraulic blocking system makes the ball-head precise and increases its loading capacity. B-series ball-heads come with three knobs which facilitate shooting. The first knob helps to position the camera in any dimension required. The second one is responsible for the head’s friction power and allows to easily adjust sensitivity of the ball-head to your camera’s weight. The third knob has been designed to control the panoramic rotation. B-2 is a smaller ball-head in the series with the maximum loading capacity of 8 kg. It is equipped with a special mounting plate which facilitates carrying the load. The panorama division is placed in the lower part of the head. Pano mode a little bit stiff. *by A***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 December 2020* I bought this to replace a cheap head that only cost £10 less but was a world of pain inferior. Where it was stucky and jerky to move and when you tensioned the ball it moved up at least a millimetre, this one is smooth and barely moves at all on tensioning. Its much better finished and the friction adjustment has a scale so you can set it to consiustent levels of friction for different lenses etc. No trial and error. My only criticism is the panoramic rotatin which is quite stiff. Not sticky, its very smooth but it takes a fair pressure to turn the camera. OK for still panoramics but not so great for panning in videos (but a ball isn't great for video anyway). A really good value head.
