Review: Close to the Classic - These are made by Nonni, but are better than their large cookie-like biscotti. These are shaped in a more traditional fashion and have a harder crunch. The ingredients are clean--eggs, butter, flour, sugar, whole almonds and anise seed. The price for this offering of 40 oz. is quite a bargain. The only surprise for some might be the addition of anise seed, but this is authentic to real Italian biscotti and avoids using cheaper anise flavorings.

I was expecting something bland and forgettable. After one bite I was trying to figure out how to get some more so I checked desertcart and ordered another 40 ounce jar. This package arrived Thursday and it's Monday morning. Every single biscotti is gone. I was thinking about stocking up on about 10 jars but I know they won't last long around me. These things are delicious. Not too sweet. But delicious. Perfect amount of nuts. Delicious. Not hard but they are crunchy. And delicious. There were crumbs at the bottom but you gotta expect that with considering the texture of these cookies. Even the crumbs were satisfying. Still debating whether I should buy just one or get 10 or 15 more jars just in case.

A: You're right...its ridiculously expensive, someone is profiting big time on our cravings...!  Check your local Costco store, as they may very well carry it and its only $10.99 a tub....yep only $10.99 a tub...!!

**Q: What is current expiration date for recent orders please?**
A: There is no expiration date on my recently purchased biscotti. 
They have been a favorite of ours for years, and we've never 
had them go bad on us.

A little too much flavor licorice like but the sweetness is fine. Nice for a quick snack or with yogurt or coffee.
