You can see the polished smoothness of the unwound/strings right away, and I can definitely feel the difference while playing. I’ve put over 30 hours of playing time on each of the sets, and the tone and shine hasn’t noticeably degraded at all. The wound strings have a lot of ‘snap’ to them. I’m really pleased with these.
