Plugged 3 pins into it doesn't make them able to receive a PWM (pulse width modulated) signal just because the connector on the MB has 4 pins **Q: Can I control the fan speed ? I am gonna be using a 140mm nzxt fan, 120 mm Nzxt and a 3 120 mm cooler master sickle flow** A: no, it will try to spin each fan at the same speed but since you will be using a lot of different fans with different amp/voltage ratings, they will all spin at different speeds except for fans of the same make and model. Usually people buy these to run a whole bunch of the same type of fans on a radiator off of only one pwm on their motherboard. **Q: When I plugged in my fans, they all spun faster than before and are very loud.
