A: Depends on your settings - if you will keep LTE in always-on mode I believe it uses its own connection. However, if you keep it connected to your phone via bluetooth, it will use the main device.

I have used this watch for nearly one month and it needs charging everyday. It was counting steps while I was cycling. It detects work outs at leats 20 mins late. I had to return it because of its battery life and my service provider needs me to pay more to use the e-sim and customer service is good.
