I could see from the picture that it was a pretty fine knit, but I would say that the product that arrived seems slightly thicker than the photo, it certainly isn't as see-through but maybe that's just the studio lighting? I want to layer it over some fine knit cashmere polos I already own in pastel colours and it works a treat. It is sewn up slightly irregularly so that it sits in a sort of "swathed" look, I don't know how else to describe it but it looks very elegant.
