The AO-WH-DSCLR will condition it to prevent the scale from building up in pipes & appliances. **Q: Does this filter eliminate sulfur odor in the water?** A: The carbon can help with some smells in the water but with sulfur, this would not be a long term solution. Another water treatment method such as a Ultra Violet light would be the best option to kill the bacteria causing the sulfur smell. **Q: Why is water leaking from the tank connection?** A: Water leaking is typically due to a loose water connection. We would recommend making sure the connection is properly sealed and thread seal tape was used. (not any pipe compound) **Q: What’s required to install the unit?** A: The system will come with the filter itself, a ¾ shut off valve, ¾ in. Nipple for flushing along with a hose adapter.
