Well, I took the chance on these, and I am much more satisfied than I thought I'd be. I only wish that the hinges were those "springy" ones,... my only issue. I really like the fit, as well as the way they look. Glad I took the chance. I live on "The Big Island" of Hawaii and a good quality, reasonably priced priced pair of shades are almost mandatory here. Still using this style and have purchased multiple pairs to replace list or damaged ones. I use them for almost anything outdoors where I could benefit from Sun and or eye protection. Though these are not rated as safety glasses, they work fine for protecting my eyes from occasional sawdust and loose parts.Decent Polarized sunglasses. I was looking for a relatively cheap pair of Polarized sunglasses for wearing fishing and just for general use, playing basketball and other sports. I recently got Lasek eye surgery. The doctor said I need to be religious about wearing sunglasses for about a year. I splurged and bought a pair of nice polarized aviator glasses at the eye doctor after my surgery for about $100 (one of the cheapest pairs). I bought these because I know the aviators would not work well for active sports, and all the sunglasses at the eye doctor designed for active users were in the range of $200 - $500. Hopefully these will suffice. They are working great so far and look much nicer than what you woul find on the Walmart shelves. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price *by on Reviewed in the United States August 7, 2013* As some have mentioned, these glasses are pretty dang good for the price. The lenses are surprisingly good considering the money. I will say they are not meant for anyone with a face or head that is anything considered big...or even somewhat large. I have a pretty average sized face, and these are as small of frames as I would ever buy. If you like compact frames, these are for you, even if you don't have a small face.I bought these as a "low risk" set of glasses for times when I won't really care if they fall in the river, or get a bad scratch. But compared to my Oakley Straight Jackets and Oakley Pit Bulls, these are a smidge snug.
