Then at work I was placing the top back on after drinking some water and the glass broke and went into my hand! I wasn't in a hurry and was putting the lid on like I had every time. Needless to say it got trashed and I was picking shards of glass out of my hand. I will be shopping for another glass waterbottle. Buy this one only if you want it to sit on your shelf and not be used. If they were to make the mouthpiece and lid a better quality this injury wouldn't have occurred. About 1 month after purchase, I went to place the stopper on and the glass broke right at the same place as the air bubble. I am purchasing another to hopefully get a bottle with no defects in the glass that make it weak.
