Review: Great water rowing machine - Though the delivery was delayed a few days due to issues with FedEx, Wally at Peak Home Fitness was prompt to inform me of the delay. Scheduled for delivery March 11-15, the first box arrived on 3/13 and the rails arrived 3/14. Boxes were in good shape, material was packed securely, and the assembly was simple due to the easy instructions. PHF provides you with everything you need to get up and rowing. Seat is comfortable, foot rests are easily adjusted, and the pulley system runs smoothly. Though this model was more expensive than the first one I ordered and never received, I would not hesitate ordering another one. I highly recommend for novice or experienced rowers.
Review: Phenomenal - Ordered on Jan 23rd and received in less than a week so loved that. Came in 2 boxes got them both same day not like others said separate days. Immediately put together by myself and took about 30-35 minutes. Manual super easy to understand. Longest part was filling the compartment with water. Used same night swooshing sound is soothing. It’s sturdy, I can lift and move without feeling strained, just overall a solid piece of equipment. My S4 monitor isn’t tight so it flips and slips around sure it’s something simple. Will make a call and hopefully that will be easy to resolve. Overall definitely purchase if you are pondering it. My whole family uses it now.

## Features

- The Original Waterrower - Handcrafted and Built to Last: Designed in the mid '80s by Yale and US National Team Rower John Duke. WaterRower continues to combine stylish design, handcrafted workmanship, our unique WaterFlywheel resistance and ethically sourced materials create the world's finest rowing simulator
- Made in the USA - Hand-built in Rhode Island; all timber used in the manufacture of wooden WaterRower rowing machines is sourced from sustainably managed hardwood forests in the Appalachian Mountains. The Club is handcrafted in solid Ash and stained for color
- Smooth - Water rowers use a water-filled flywheel to provide resistance as you row. The resistance is created by the paddle-like blades of the flywheel moving through the water, creating a smooth and natural resistance that closely resembles the feeling of rowing on water. Like water, the harder you fight, the more resistance you get
- Burn calories in a short time - There are many benefits to rowing. It is a low impact cardiovascular exercise that puts less stress on your joints. Full body workout that includes your legs, core, back and arms. Perfect for all fitness levels. This water rowing machine targets all major muscle groups (84 percent of total muscle mass)

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is advantage of hi-rise attachment?**
A: The high rise makes it easier to get on and off. Especially after a long training session.

**Q: Can you adjust the tension on the rowing machine to make it more difficult ?**
A: You cannot adjust the tension. These rowers are build to feel natural. So like water, the harder you row, the harder it fights back.

**Q: Can it be used in a space 9 feet long by 3 1/2 feet wide? Want to get a rower for an apartment, and space is tight.**
A: Yes! The space will be a little tight to walk around the tank, but you'll make it with a little bit of clearance to spare. I have mine tucked behind my couch with similar clearance. As long as it's not a high traffic area, you'll be fine.

**Q: Does it came unassembly?, wich are the meassurements of the boxes?**
A: Yes it comes unassembled. All you are really doing is adding the legs on which come in a separate box.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good workout
*by U***D on February 18, 2022*

The only problem we had with the assembly instructions were that we had to loosen the center screws to insert the foot pads, which wasn’t in the instructions. I can’t comment on the monitor because I haven’t used it. I use my Apple watch to keep track of my workout. After the first time of strapping in my feet, I decided to just leave a set of tennis shoes in the foot straps so I just slip my feet in them and don’t have to worry about adjusting the straps all the time. I’m glad I invested in this form of workout—and what a workout—when the weather outside is not pleasant. As others have commented, filling the water basin is not fun or easy. I don’t know why the manufacturers don’t put the fill hole out from underneath the top board?? While cheaper versions are out there, and I researched and contemplated for months on which product to buy, I’m glad I chose the WaterRower.
