Contains three equal ratios of nitrogen types, nitrate is immediately bioavailable to the plant, the ammonia will be later after the soil microbes break it down into nitrate, and then urea which needs to decompose to ammonia, then converted to nitrate. This layered nitrogen release is exceptionally ideal in my experience. In the beginning of the season for outdoor gardening, particular edible crops, I will also add calcium nitrate to boost NPK values to about 35-20-20 in conjunction with this product, for rapid green growth.
